Abstract

He begs to send him a parchment of the confirmation of King Edward's sending Giso to be consecrated at Rome by Pope Nicholas. He thinks it may possibly be useful to him in his book. As to subscribers he can only mention the Dean of Wells, the Chapter and himself. He entreats Dr. H. to order from the bookseller a book (H's book ?) for the Chapter and himself bound in calf and lettered. He makes careful suggestions about payments and carriage.
