Abstract

A forthcoming account to his uncle of preliminaries to his wedding; the marriage itself; and attendance at the ceremony of distinguished persons; and the widespread kindnesses and hospitality following, e.g., of Dr. Carringa (Caminga?) and his wife, Dr. Gerbrand, bishop Lewart? and others. He touches also on Z's. promised dowery to his wife of 800 florins.
