Abstract

He appeals to S. to supplicate His Majesty that he may continue in his post as a commissioner of the Excise, which appointment, when S.'s predecessor took him off from being advocate to His Majesty to be his Dean of the Arches (a mean place of profit), he obtained for him from the King.
