Abstract

After expressing pleasure at the return of the Archbp's son to college and reporting on his programme of studies, he launches into a long vindication against assailants of his religious position, his main point being that he believes in observing the well approved portions of the Roman Catholic church but that no one can justly accuse him of defending the erroneous items in Roman Catholic doctrine or rites, of which he agrees there are many.
