Abstract
Printed in Colomesius' "Vossii Epistolae" p.203
He loves him as a compatriot and for his wonderful erudition and
eloquence. He explains his delayed acknowledgment of the edition
of his orations which he found awaiting him on his return from
England, and of which the first glimpses tempted him to further study.
Of his own work nothing has appeared except an argumental edition of
his "Oratoriae": he hopes now to polish up and supplement all his
past writings.
He commends the bearer, W. Simonius, advocate of the Royal Swedish
judiciary in Livonia and son of the famous professor of eloquence
at Rostock and them at Upsale.
